22 July 2012 - GB-343309 - Nottingham

In the beginning of July I wrote that I do not often receive card from the United Kingdom and guess what.... 3 weeks later, I received another card from this country! It has traveled a distance of 383 km in 7 days. It shows us the City of Bath, an UNESCO site. Three years ago, I also got a card of this lovely city. And this one is special because it is decorated as a stamp.

Founded by the Romans as a thermal spa, Bath became an important centre of the wool industry in the Middle Ages. In the 18th century, under George III, it developed into an elegant town with neoclassical Palladian buildings, which blend harmoniously with the Roman baths. Source:
