6 February 2013 - NL - 1690114 - Tilburg

Another one from the Netherlands ! This one has traveled 78 kms in 2 days. It is send from my former hometown, Tilburg. I have studied there for some years. It shows us different rock guitars because I like the Rolling stones. Pretty cool card. It is also no 100 of the sender!

9 January 2013 - NL -1610607 - Utrecht

The funny fact about this card from the Netherlands is that it shows us a typical Dutch thing: Speedskating! I'm a huge speedskating fan. It is a picture of the finish of the Eleven Cities Tour. It is a huge skating competition on natural ice. The last event was in 1997. We are still waiting for another one. Actually, during the time that this card was sent, it was pretty cold in my country. We all were hoping for another tour. The card has traveled a distance of 56 kms in 20 days. I think it took so long because of Christmas. 

26 May 2012 - NL - 1231496 - Hooglanderveen

This card was sent from the Netherlands . It took 5 days before it reached my mailbox after traveling 75 kms. It's a card from "Kinderpostzegels". Every year, children from 11-12 years are going to sell stamps and cards for the charity. 

1 april 2012 - NL-1129371 - Amersfoort

No, it's no joke. It is a coincidence that I write a new blog on 1 April about my return into Postcrossing. I know I have quit before, but it is always because I send so many cards, that in the end, I don't have time to put them on my blog and so on. So for now, I only send a few cards a month, in the hope I will stay in the project for a while!



The first card I have received after this break comes from.... The Netherlands . It shows us a creation of vegetables :) It has to purpose a mouse. So funny! The sender of this card also recommend me some books to read! Well, I hope my mailbox will be happy a lot of days this month ;)

I found my 15th card from the Netherlands in my mailbox a day before Christmas. It has traveled a distance of 170 km in 16 days. It shows us a picture which is called "Wasser und stein".

23 November 2010 - NL - 481503 - Sneek

It has been a while ago that I received a card from the Netherlands . It has traveled a distance of 141 kms in 17 days. The fact that this card took so long to be registered is because I was on vacation and didn't had the time for it. It shows a village Sneek, I have never been there but it's close to a city I see quite often (Heerenveen).

A card from my own country! . It has travelled a distance of 45 km in 10 days. It shows us a funny dress and nice shoes. Actually it is not a postcard but I like the picture!

19 April 2010 - NL - 329157- Vlagtwedde

I receive this card from my own country but it shows something from another country. It shows a Greek street. One of my favourite countries! The card has travelled a distance of 170 km in 4 days.

12 April 2010 - NL-326593 - Middelburg

I receive a lot of card from my own country this month. This one has traveled a distance of 123 km in 1 day. It shows us a map card from the provine Zeeland, which is in the south west of the Netherlands, near the sea.

8 April 2010 - NL - 322104 - Hoorn

This is a card from my own country ! Actually, it is number 10 from the Netherlands. It has travelled a disance of 61 km in 5 days, due to the easter I guess! It shows us a close up of an old car!

2 April 2010 - NL-320593 - Hoorn

I received this card from the Netherlands but it shows something from an other country! It has travelled a distance of 61 kms in 1 day. The card shows us a mountain near Jerusalem, Israel. I have been there almost 10 years ago.



And I was very surprised of the stamp as well! A real speedskating stamp. A very old one :) in the time we had a different coin in my country.

It seems like 2010 is a Dutch year! This is my third card from The Netherlands in 2010. It has travelled a distance of 109 kms in 1 day! It shows a scene of the first movie of Harry Potter!

7 January 2010 - NL-271164 - Halsteren

This is the second card I received from the Netherlands this year. Normally I do not received that much card of the Netherlands. It has travelled a distance of 87 kms in 3 days. The card shows us the city council of Halsteren.

4 January 2010 - NL - 269322 - Venlo

My first offical card of 2010 comes from my own country... The Netherlands! . It has travelled 108 kms in 4 days.

The picture is a lovely Harry Potter card. It shows the character Dumbledore, the professor and head of the school of Harry Potter. It is a great card!

22 December 2009 - NL - 265276 - Nootdorp

It is nice to receive a card from your own country. The last time was three months ago and I was happy when I saw a card from the Netherlands in my mailbox. It has travelled a distance of 48 kms in 5 days. A little bit long for a card from the Netherlands but the postdelivery was very busy because of all those christmascards!

10 September 2009 - NL - 213728 - Spijkenisse

Pim and Pom are two cats. Pim is the smartest and Pom is the 'dumb' one. The cats are drawn by Fiep Westendorp, who is famous in the Netherlands because of her childrens books illustrations. I received this card from a boy of nine years old in the Netherlands! . It has travelled a distance of 60 kms in 1 day!

28 August 2009 - NL - 206479 - Middelburg

Since I choose the option 'receive within you country' I found sometimes cards from the Netherlands in my mailbox. This one was send from Middelburg. It is a town where I have never been to. It is far from my hometown. Well, 123 kms but it is difficult to reach it. Of course it has travelled only 1 day.

1 August 2008 - NL- 192373 - Tytsjerk

This is the second card I received from my own country! It shows the nothern province; Fryslân. I come here very often during the winter season to visit and watch speedskating. The card has travelled a distance of 134 kms in one day.

18 July 2009 - NL - 186102 - Wezep

Since a few weeks, I use the 'receive cards from your own country' option. And this is my first card I received from my own country ! It has travelled a distance of 66 kms in 2 days. It is a map card of 'The Veluwe'.
