A card from Brasil via a Round Robin from Xiru. It has been a while ago that I received a card from Brasil via a Round Robin.

28 January 2010 - BR-90360 - VIlhena

On 28 January 2010, I received a very special postcard from Brazil . It was not only a postcard but there was a letter as well! I really liked it. It has travelled a distance of 9,498 km in 23 days. The card shows us the university of Vilhena.

22 December 2009 - BR - 87621 - Sao Paulo

I have received most of my cards from Brasil via Round Robins. Two weeks ago, I found this official from Brasil in my mailbox. It has travelled a distance of 9,769 Kms in 19 days. It shows a panoramic view from Sao Paulo. It shows us the government buildings and a stadium.

Slavic Countries RR - Group 1 - Brazil

I have received a lot of lovely cards from Xiru before. It is my fifth card from this user from Basil . It was send via the Slavic Countries RR. It shows Petrópolis.

Netherlands RR - Group 79 - Brazil

I received a great UNESCO site via the Netherlands RR - Group 79 from vbforming. It shows us the Pantanal Conservation area, which has the worlds richest collection of flora and fauna.



The Pantanal Conservation Complex consists of a cluster of four protected areas with a total area of 187,818 ha. Located in western central Brazil at the south-west corner of the State of Mato Grosso, the site represents 1.3% of Brazil's Pantanal region, one of the world's largest freshwater wetland ecosystems. The headwaters of the region's two major river systems, the Cuiabá and the Paraguay rivers, are located here, and the abundance and diversity of its vegetation and animal life are spectacular.

The Netherlands RR - Group 66 - Porto Alegre

I have received a lot of cards from Brazil . This one was sent by Rafa Santander via the Netherlands Round Robin. It shows the Art Museum in Porto Alegre.

Netherlands RR - Group 63 - Sao Paulo

This is the fourth card I received from Xiru from Brasil ! And it is totally different then the ones I received before and a great new stamp as well! It is nice to know that people really think and care about what they send to you! The same experience with alivemary :) It is not so bad to see the same people in the Round Robins :) Anyway, this card shows the Lagao Manguaba.

Netherland RR - Group 56 - Brasil

I have recieved a lot of cards via the Round Robins from Brasil but they are different every time and I like the fact to recieve so many different cards from the same country! This one was send via the Netherlands RR by Mconceicao. It shows the Gruta Reo do Mato and it must be a beautiful place to see in real!

Slavic countries RR - Special Group 31 - Sao Paulo

With this card I completed Special Group 31 in the Slavic Countries RR. It was sent by Xiru from Brazil . The day before I received this card, I receive a card from the same UNESCO site as well via the UNESCO but the cards a very different and I like them both! It must be beautiful there.

The park shares with Iguazú National Park in Argentina one of the world’s largest and most impressive waterfalls, extending over some 2,700 m. It is home to many rare and endangered species of flora and fauna, among them the giant otter and the giant anteater. The clouds of spray produced by the waterfall are conducive to the growth of lush vegetation.

9 June 2009 - BR- 64760 - Pindamonhangaba

Last week I received an offical from a place in Brazil with a very funny name Pindamonhangaba. I don't know how the pronounce it. The card has travelled a distance of 9,653 Kms in 13 days! It shows the Foz Fo Iguacu, what must be beautiful to see in real! It is an UNESCO site.

Netherlands RR - Special Group 58 - Sao Paulo

I received my first UNESCO site from Brazil last saturday from VBforming via The Netherlands RR Special Group 58. The card is a panoramic view of Pelourinho at Night. It is a district of the historical centre of Salvador de Bahia.



As the first capital of Brazil, from 1549 to 1763, Salvador de Bahia witnessed the blending of European, African and Amerindian cultures. It was also, from 1558, the first slave market in the New World, with slaves arriving to work on the sugar plantations. The city has managed to preserve many outstanding Renaissance buildings. A special feature of the old town are the brightly coloured houses, often decorated with fine stucco-work.

Slavic Countries RR - Group 56 - Sao Paulo

A day after I received my first card from Xiru, I received my second as well. This time via the Slavic Countries RR - Group 56. The card comes from Brasil and shows us a different part of Sao Paulo than the first card. This is the park 'Ibirapuera'. It looks like a beautiful park! This card has completed this group for me!

The Netherlands RR - Group 53

Last Tuesday I received a lot of cards, so many that I didn't had the time to upload them untill now. This is the last one I found in my mailbox that day. I receveid this card from Xiru via the Netherlands Round Robin - Group 53 and the card was send from Brasil . It is my second card from Brasil and this time from another city; Sao Paulo.



It shows ys the Rue Galvão Buenno; an oriental district. And I really love those cute stamps which they have in Brasil!

12 May 2009 - BR-62249 - Rio de Janeiro

My first official from 'over the sea' on the west side of my country comes from Brasil . It is the 12th country I received via officials. The card has travelled a distance of 9,543 Kms in 9 days. I like it that there was some Dutch on the card! The card is beautiful and shows us the famous Chris statue of Rio de Janeiro.
