I received this one from Czech Republic . It has travelled a distance of 689 km in 6 days and it shows us the city Prague, especially the old part, which is an unesco site.



Built between the 11th and 18th centuries, the Old Town, the Lesser Town and the New Town speak of the great architectural and cultural influence enjoyed by this city since the Middle Ages. The many magnificent monuments, such as Hradcani Castle, St Vitus Cathedral, Charles Bridge and numerous churches and palaces, built mostly in the 14th century under the Holy Roman Emperor, Charles IV.

I received the first card from a user of Czech Republic ! It is always nice to get the first card someone has ever send! It has travelled a distance of 715 km in 5 days. It shows us the small town Milevsko and a very old monastry. It has been a whilde ago that I receveid a card from Czech Repbulic zo I'm very happy.

This card was send by an user from Czech Republic . it has travelled a distance of 735 kms in 7 days. It is my fifth official card from this country! It shows us the city Tábor.

11 December 2009 - CZ-41490 - Praque

This spring I received my first card from Praque and this is, via the officials, my second. I received it on 11 December from the Czech Republic . It has travelled a distance of 689 kms in 8 days.

The card is a great map with all the highlight of Praque. I should visit it as someday!

30 September 2009 - CZ - 35865 - Třebíč

I was very happy when I found a 'three unesco in one' card! It was send by svetluska from Czech Republic . It has travelled a distance of 824 kms in 6 days.

The card shows the Historic Centre of Telč, the Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk at Zelená Hora, the Jewish Quarter and St Procopius' Basilica in Třebíč. I didn't had any cards of these unesco sites.


#1 Historic Centre of Telč
The houses in Telc, which stands on a hilltop, were originally built of wood. After a fire in the late 14th century, the town was rebuilt in stone, surrounded by walls and further strengthened by a network of artificial ponds. The town's Gothic castle was reconstructed in High Gothic style in the late 15th century.

#2 The Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk at Zelená Hora
This pilgrimage church, built in honour of St John of Nepomuk, stands at Zelená Hora, not far from Ždár nad Sázavou in Moravia. Constructed at the beginning of the 18th century on a star-shaped plan, it is the most unusual work by the great architect Jan Blazej Santini, whose highly original style falls between neo-Gothic and Baroque.


#3 The Jewish Quarter and St Procopius' Basilica in Třebíč.
The ensemble of the Jewish Quarter, the old Jewish cemetery and the Basilica of St Procopius in Trebíc are reminders of the co-existence of Jewish and Christian cultures from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. The Jewish Quarter bears outstanding testimony to the different aspects of the life of this community. St Procopius Basilica, built as part of the Benedictine monastery in the early 13th century, is a remarkable example of the influence of Western European architectural heritage in this region.

I received this beautiful card from Czech Republic from Jantara while I was on vacation. It is a great view from the city Praha, which is an UNESCO site as well.

22 April 2009 - CZ - 25222 - Prague

My first official from Czech Republic . I have a lot of travelplans and one of them is to visit Prague once in my life and my first official from the Czech Republic comes from Prague and shows us a few historical monuments of the city! The card has traveled a distance of 689 kms in eight days. It is not my first Czech Republic card because I received one a few days ago from France of a Czech UNESCO site.

And it is always nice when people take time to read your profile and send some nice stamps of your preferences. Yeah I know this is ice hockey but it has something to do with ice speedskating and I like these kind of gestures :)
