The Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz is an exceptional example of landscape design and planning of the Age of the Enlightenment, the 18th century. Its diverse components - outstanding buildings, landscaped parks and gardens in the English style, and subtly modified expanses of agricultural land - serve aesthetic, educational, and economic purposes in an exemplary manner. Actually this is number 50 of Germany on my blog. It is my 36th official. It has traveled a distance of 564 km in 7 days. I'm happy because it is a new UNESCO site for my collection. It shows us the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz.
