My 30th card from Germany ! It has traveled a distance of 401 km in 10 days. It is not a German card but shows us a Greek impression. I really like the typical blue/white colours in Greece. That is one of the reasons why I put those kind of cards on my wishlist!

It has been a few months ago that I received a card from China . It has traveled a distance of 7,892 km in 17 days. It was send from the no 17 most cards sender from China!

12 february 2011 - TW-254285 - Taipei City

Another card from Taiwan. . This is the 10th card I received from this country! It has traveled a distance of 9,516 km in 6 days. Pretty fast! It is a treasure card and shows us a party of England.

31 January 2011 - TW-242844 - Taoyan County

The one I received on the last day of January from Taiwan is not a regular card. It is a red card and those cards will be send when the Chinese new year is coming. It has traveled 9,509 km in 22 days. It's funny that January started and ended with a card from Taiwan.

31 January 2011 - LV-26027 - Riga

This one is very special. It's my second card from Latvia . I received the first one almost 2 year ago and it was not even a viewcard. This card has traveled a distance of 1,389 km in 15 days. It shows us the main town Riga. The old town of Riga is an UNESCO world heritage side.


Riga was a major centre of the Hanseatic League, deriving its prosperity in the 13th–15th centuries from the trade with central and eastern Europe. The urban fabric of its medieval centre reflects this prosperity, though most of the earliest buildings were destroyed by fire or war. Riga became an important economic centre in the 19th century, when the suburbs surrounding the medieval town were laid out, first with imposing wooden buildings in neoclassical style and then in Jugendstil . 26 January 2011 - ES-100285 - Murcia

I do not receive card from Spain very often. This one has traveled a distance of 1,612 km in 11 days. It shows us different flags from the different parts of Spain.

19 January 2011 - UA-67265 - Kiev

I have received different cards from Ukraine via the postcrossing forum but in 2011; 2 years after I participated in this project; I received one via the official site . It has traveled a distance of 1830 km in 14 days.

19 January 2011 - DE - 796019 - Moormerland

I still receive many card from Germany . This one has traveled a distance of 255 km in 17 days. It shows us some pictures from the village 'Leer'.

19 January 2011 - BY - 128129 - Minsk

In the last 1,5 months, I received 3 official card from Belarus . All of them are long shaped cards and were send from Minsk. This one has traveled a distance of 1568 kms in 10 days. It is a very special card for me because it shows the Wawel castle in Kraków, Poland. I have been there last year and I really like Kraków. It's nice to receive a card from something you really like.

I do not receive that often card from the United Kingdom . This one has traveled a distance of 436 kms in 16 days. It shows us the lake district; a part of UK where I have never been. I have only learned about the cotton industry in Lancashire part in my last year of highschool.

It has been almost 4 months ago when I received for the last time a card from France . It has traveled a distance of 768 kms in 9 days. It is a Christmas card.

I really like winter scenes, like this one from Germany . It has traveled a distance 681 km in 8 days. It shows the Königsschloß in Neuschwanstein. It my 225th official!

1 January 2011 - BY-121293 - Minsk

I receive a lot of long shaped card from Belarus . This one has traveled a distance of 1568 km in 15 days. It shows us a UNESCO site; Mir Castle Complex. It is my third UNESO site from this country.



"The construction of this castle began at the end of the 15th century, in Gothic style. It was subsequently extended and reconstructed, first in the Renaissance and then in the Baroque style. After being abandoned for nearly a century and suffering severe damage during the Napoleonic period, the castle was restored at the end of the 19th century, with the addition of a number of other elements and the landscaping of the surrounding area as a park. Its present form is graphic testimony to its often turbulent history."
