21 February 2010 - PL-70060 - Warszawa

One month ago, I received a multiview from the city Warszawa in Poland . It was a view days before I decided to go to Poland this summer. So I was very happy when I found another multiview pf Warszawa in my mailbox! It has traveled a distance of 1068 kms in 10 days!



During the Warsaw Uprising in August 1944, more than 85% of Warsaw's historic centre was destroyed by Nazi troops. After the war, a five-year reconstruction campaign by its citizens resulted in today's meticulous restoration of the Old Town, with its churches, palaces and market-place. It is an outstanding example of a near-total reconstruction of a span of history covering the 13th to the 20th century.

21 February 2010 - PT-111358 - Lisboa

I see you thinking, why does she receive so many postcards on the 21th of February while it was a sunday?! Actually, I set my status at inactive for a while because I went on vacation; but it doesn't work because there were a lot of cards on their way to me! Like this one from Portugal . I haven't receive official postcards from Portugal for more than an half year; but this is the second in one week! It has travelled a distance of 1,852 km in 12 days.

21 February 2010 - GB - 120245 - Glasgow

This is a card from the United Kingdom . It has travelled a distance of 743 kms in 12 days. I went to Scotland last year and I have seen the Forth Bridge in real life. Actually I have seen it very close because we went with a boat tour on the Fifth of Forth. It is an amazing bridge, very high and huge!

A very long time ago, I received a card from Japan , so I was very happy when I found this one in my mailbox! It has traveled a distance of 9,287 kms in 10 days. It shows us a map of Kawagoe city!

I receive this lovely winterview from Finland. It has traveled a distance of 1,847in 3 days! I like those winterviews. In the Netherlands we have had a lot of snow, but it is all gone now.

This one from Portugal , has traveled very long; a distance of 1783 kms in 41 days.

An other one from the USA . This time from Michigan. It has travelled a distance of 6,281 km in 14 days.

Netherlands RR - Group 84 - USA

It was USA-week in the first week of February! I receive this on via the Netherlands Round Robin from HeatherC from the USA . It shows the state bird of New York.



On the back, I found a Vancouver 2010 stamp! I have been to the Olympics this year and it's great to have such stamp in my collection! Shaun White has won the Snowboard Halfpipe competition by the way ;)

I received a nice card from the USA before I went on vacation. It has travelled a distance of 6,455 kms in 5 days. The nicest thing about the card is that it is written by an 8 year old boy, because his schoolclass participate in postcrossing to know more about the world!

Unesco Tag - Russia

I'm trying to get more UNESCO site via different tags/round robins. I received a new one from Russia via the UNESCO tag from Miledi. It is my fifth UNESCO site from Russia . It shows White Monuments of Vladimir and Suzdal


These two artistic centres in central Russia hold an important place in the country's architectural history. There are a number of magnificent 12th- and 13th-century public and religious buildings, above all the masterpieces of the Collegiate Church of St Demetrios and the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin.

Argentina has 1150 useers but there are not that many cards send. So I was very happy when I found AR-3328 in my mailbox!! A new, rare, country for me! The card has travelled a distance of 11,722 km in 21 days. It dhow us the Inti Huasi in San Luis. It was the first card that the user send so very special :)

And this is my third card from Germany in 8 days!It has travelled a distance of 512kms in 4 days. It is a colourful viewcard from the city Nuremberg.

3 february 2010 - US-596337 - Seattle

I received my 15th card from the USA last week. It shows us some views of the state Washington. It has travelled a distance of 7,758 kms in 14 days. The funniest thing is that I will go to Seattle by the end of this week, what a coincidence!

Wow! I was soo happy when I found this card in my mailbox!! A new country! Turkey ! The card has travelled a distance of 2514 kms in 4 days. Pretty fat, my holiday card from Greece are travelling much longer. The card shows us a mosque in Aksaray.

I received a card from Italy from the new UNESCO site, The Dolomites. It has travelled a distance of 837 kms in 4 days. It was send by the number 10 user from Italy!



The site of the Dolomites comprises a mountain range in the northern Italian Alps, numbering 18 peaks which rise to above 3,000 metres and cover 141,903 ha. It features some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes anywhere, with vertical walls, sheer cliffs and a high density of narrow, deep and long valleys. A serial property of nine areas that present a diversity of spectacular landscapes of international significance for geomorphology marked by steeples, pinnacles and rock walls, the site also contains glacial landforms and karst systems. It is characterized by dynamic processes with frequent landslides, floods and avalanches. The property also features one of the best examples of the preservation of Mesozoic carbonate platform systems, with fossil records.

30 January 2010 - DE - 513634 - Wuppertal

I realised that I do not receive that often cards from Germany and that is has been a while ago before I received two in four days! This one has travelled a distance of 170 kms in 4 days ans shows is Wuppertal. It is a town between Düsseldorf and Cologne.

On 28 January 2010, I received a very special postcard from Brazil . It was not only a postcard but there was a letter as well! I really liked it. It has travelled a distance of 9,498 km in 23 days. The card shows us the university of Vilhena.

26 January 2010 - DE - 500963 - Düsseldorf

On 26th January, I received this original card from Germany . It is my 15th official from this country. It has travelled a distance of 150 kms in 17 (!) days. It shows us a 'Luftballon-fest' in Düsseldorf.

Netherlands RR - Group 134 - Indonesia

I received a lovely card from Indonesia via the Netherlands Round Robin. It was send by Shinta. The only other postcard from this country was also send by this user! I received in last spring. This card shows us 3 active Vulcanoes in East Java.

This is a card from Malaysia , which I received from Battleforest via the Netherlands RR. It shows us Putrajaya, which is the official recidence of the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
